Enginges cranks fine and idles fine and seems ok at lower RPM's, but after about 5-8 minutes of wide open throttle, I loose power and have to wait a couple minutes to return to WOT. Water flow seems a bit lower than it should, so could it be overheating? I don't think my motor has an overtemp buzzer(haven't heard one yet). Thx

Mine did the same thing and it was the fuel line sucking air.I was running out of gas.I put a new hose clamp on the loose one and the problem went away.

I agree with Kenny, check for air leaks in fuel system also could be overheating and the safe mode kicks in to protect the engine, check the thermostat, water pump as you have noticed less water flow;
