Well the time has finally come to install the floor in my project 1967 Starcraft aluminum hull. Do you guys, many of whom have ALOT more experience at this than me- feel I need to replace the foam that I removed? It was two inch thick sheets of styrofoam and was waterlogged and falling apart. If you think it's necessary, this is the stuff I was considering: http://www.owenscorning.com/comminsul/documents/Foamular250.pdf
BTW, I used 3/4", 5 layer plywood to replace the old floor. I laid it in the boat today and I don't feel any give at all.
