I have a 40hp Erinrude - model#40262E - What year is it? I want to buy a repair manual for it.. Also checked the Evinrude.com website and can't find docktalk for customer support, is it gone?
I checked my copy of the Evinrude model number guide, there is no model number 40262. There is a model 40252. Double check your model number - 40252 is a 1972 model.<br /><br />-John
Thank-you Capt. John! I re-checked the model - it was hard to see - after wiping off some crud i noticed it is a 40252E - So I have a 1972 40hp Evinrude.. Thanks again for your help !!
