I left my boat in the shop a couple of months ago, for winterization, and some warrenty items. I told them that I wasn't in a hurry, but after about 2 weeks of it being gone, and I couldn't at least see it, I got to missing it.

The dealer called today, and said it was ready !!!!!!!! YES !!!!!!!!!!!

Basically mine was in for warrenty work. It is also freezing here today, like it has been for the past 4-5 weeks. When it's too cold to swim, for me, it's time to put the "baby" nighty night.

yer missin out on some real good boating weather with that statement 204... best time to boat is before memorial day and after labor day. to cold to swim, yes. but not to cold for boating. put yer top up, grab a sweatshirt and extend the season..... not near as many folks on the water at them times either..... much more peaceful.

i hear ya bout missin yer baby. mines outside my bedroom window if i need a look, which i do...

as i stare out the window....thinking of removing the foot of fresh snow off my truck....watching the heavy sno plow/sanding trucks slide around on ice covered streets....

I kind of feel the same way, although on a smaller scale. I dropped my damaged aluminum prop off at the repair shop today. I told him "no rush" and he said it would be about 2 to 3 weeks. I cannot wait to get it back even though it will not spin until mid march................

I know how you feel. Our boat was not running well, so we took it in to the mechanic before Labor Day. Picked it up Jan 4! On Jan 5 drove it 150 miles north (in freezing rain) to store it in the garage at the cottage.

One thing after another. Basically, we took it in to a different mechanic in Sept '06. That guy not only didn't fix it, but created *lots* of other issues. So this year we had to not only fix the original problem PLUS re-do what was done a year ago PLUS fix the other damage that created . But we had to fix one step before we discovered the next ... and the next .. and the next. Final bill was almost 75% of current value of the entire boat. Had I known how much it would have been, I'd have sold it last fall 'non-running'. Oh, well.
