Yet another Smart Tab placement question

I'm at the point of my project that I need to layout where I should put the Smart Tabs. However, after reviewing where people have placed theres, as well as going by the install directions, I'm a little confused. My stern has a unique design to it that causes the very outermost portion of the transom to be at a different angle than the rest of the stern. This puts a unique angle on the tab if I place it in this position. I'm not sure if it will perform as desired in this location. The pictures below indicate the two potential placements, as well as what my stern looks like.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

My understanding is that the further apart you can mount them, the better. With that said, I'd contact Nauticus directly for suggestions. I don't have the tabs, but have been very impressed with the customer service I have seen from them since joining iBoats.

I plan to do that after the holiday weekend. I just wanted to see if iboats had some thoughts prior to that. One thing I was also thinking was making a wedge to attach to the area I'm talking about that would bring the angle back in line with the rest of the stern. This probably would give the best angle on the tab in the water.

Re: Yet another Smart Tab placement question

I contacted Nauticus and based on my verbal description to them, they recommend moving the tabs inward. But I am sending them the link to this thread so they can review the pictures to make sure what I described was correct for their recommended positioning.

Just to update. Nauticus contacted me and recommended option B.
