Another day of 20 degree weather. Hurray!!!!! Six inches of snow and freezing rain on the way to boot, Yipee. Does it get any better than this

This morning at 2am -3F, by 3am it was -6F. Coldest we have had in about 5 years. Just like PA, Winter weather advisory from 3pm to 11am tomorrow. <br /><br />Looks like the great white north is going to be that way for awhile again.<br /><br />Sorry, but I'm not convinced that global warming is a problem. Just ask anyone who has to deal with the snow and ice. The older I get, the more I hate it..

6-20" of snow forcast today already have 4 and it's supposed to snow through monday morn. followed by 10 days of temp's with the high's below 0.<br /><br />I am glad to have the snow though. Minnesota just ain't right without it and we haven't had much.

i love it.. i do.. if i could boat & fish at will it git old an i'd be broker..<br /><br />i like this cold... it puts me in persective.. <br /><br />i surely don't like months of 99/100 % muggitivity..<br /><br />i went out early this mornin' hikin' the woods.. lookin' for antler sheds.. love to hike in the cold.. <br /><br />later today,, goin' to the philadelphia art museum.. it's free on sundays an crabby needs his dose of culture. <br /><br />that's the place where ROCKY runs up the steps an celibrates..<br /><br />i do the same,, but i walk/crawl up.. celebratation commences upon completion..<br /><br />care less about those portraits of puffy pasty faced europeans.. they have a wing of suits-of- armor.. even armor for horses & dogs.. stuff that couldn't be made today..!! love the ivory scrimshawed crossbows..

I don't think it broke zero here yesterday. and it dipped to around -30 the last 2 nights. I've had enought cold to last awhile. My trucks windshild washer fluid has been froze for a week. But at least there ain't no skeeters.

You just have to keep rubbing it in huh LadyFish..We are suppose to get rain,ice and snow in that order today..I look forward to winter..If I was able to fish all the time as Crab Bait said I would be broke..From what I saw yesterday, you aren't fishn either even with the nice weather..

Don't cha' just hate it when those fair weather folks throw there balmy weather up at ya'? Here we are freezin' and gittin' snowed on while they are basquing in the sun. Ain't right. I think we should change locations every other year. They come up here and we go down there. Sounds fair to me. Tell ya' what Flathead....I'm gettin' the snow fore' you. I went to the pool recently and the sauna was 105 degrees. It was real nice....FOR FIVE MINUTES. You don't here much from these folks in the summer do you!

<br /><br />Hmmmmm.................let's see 10-11 months of summer (boating/fishing) vs 7-8 months of winter (no boating/fishing). <br /><br />Besides the humidity is good for your skin.

Ladyfish... O K, 3 months winter. The spring and fall are every bit as wonderful as summer. And I'll give you 6 month's no boating but that no way infers we quite fishing. As for the humidity, if it is in fact good for your skin that would be the only thing it's good for. Does this mean I would trade my 3 month winters for your 9 month summers...No way, although I would be inclined to Strongly consider(Read: Jump at the oppertunity) an exchange of two weeks about now!!!<br /><br />

I couldnt give up the 4 seasons we have here. I enjoy having the different temps. Even though it was -20 in the Mt. Washington, NH area this weekend when I went snowmobiling, I wouldnt change it. But by around March, I do miss the boat and want the winter weather to be gone.

I stand corrected...We are averaging an inch of snow an hour here with estimate of 8" plus then is changing to ice...Its this time oy year when I think ,do I really want to retire in Northern Minn..Texas or any warm place is sure lookn better to me today..

Man, send me some of that snow and freezing weather, please! You all know how much I love the snow!<br /><br />It was a bit cool here today, only got up to about 95 degrees! The hot season is on it's way, though. Give me a month and we will be having daytime temps of 100-110 and night time lows of 85-95!<br /><br />Please, send me the freeze! I'm melting, I'm melting!

Wish I could send this stuff to you aspeck, ALL OF IT! Of a 40 hour work week, I'll spend about 20 to 30 of it outside. Its got where it isn't too bad when it is 10 and above. Just below that it starts to get painful. It hasn't been above freezing here for several weeks. Should have only about 6 more weeks for the temps to go up.<br /><br />Ladyfish, What can I say, If I was you I would rub it in also! Wife and I do have plans to move south after she gets her nursing degree. I can't wait!!!
