166K! They can't be serious. It's a neat playhouse but DANG. It's still a "play"house.

I'd wait a year or two till their kid's got sick of it, or started tee-ball league and ballet.

Then they'll let you haul it away for free, just to get it out of the yard. ;)

The cheapest model I saw was like $15k! That's just ridiculous!

If you make $20000 a year it would be ridiculous, but if you make $20000000 a year, it would be spit in a bucket.

And to think my dad wouldn't get us a swingset because there was a perfectly good park at the end of the street.....

Yea, my wife had her sights on a major project like that one ... only much cheaper, but way too expensive for me. I told her that the kid would outgrow it too fast and then what would we do with it? So we settled for a nice heavy plastic playhouse with windows, shutters, window flower boxes, and a double door on the one side so when she gets board with her house it will become a mower garage for me! A delayed win for me! It is all in the planing, and all of you keep your mouth shut ... not a word to the "One Who Must Be Obeyed!" ;)

Wouldn't you pay a carpenter to build a perfectly amazing $5000 one (still mega extravagant) and then donate $161K to charity?
