Your Thoughts on a new Purchase

I have had a few boats but I want the space of a Pontoon. If all goes well at the bank Monday I will be picking up a new JC Neptune 25' Triple Tube with a 4-stroke Honda 115hp. The dealer added Hydrolic steering and several other perks.

We will be using it for tubing and just running around the lake. I was thinking we should get 26-30mph so it should be plenty for tubing.

since the introduction of the deck boat, toons have really step up on their bling and performance.

And the price tags..... The wife said we could get one next year but when we stopped at the dealer to look at a smaller toon she liked this one. Works for me!!!

The dealer is throwing in a mooring cover and he agreed to replace the plastic parts for the top with stainless ones.

works for me too, i just hate boat payments. makes you think you have to use it everyday. good excuse anyway.

My wife handles the money so I never even see the bills or a paycheck so for me there are no payments LOL

Congrats on the new toon. JC makes some great ones and you should see 30 MPH without much trouble...

Well I dropped the check off today. I am picking her up Thursday and the dealer is taking me out for a shake down run to make sure everything is in order...

Now the sticker shock sets in.

JC is really nice small batch builder, last I heard they built around 500 boats a year, you should be very pleased with your boat.
