Thanks for the feedback 4Winns24! I think I will just relax and enjoy my boat!

So I bought a leak down tester, removed the thermostat housing and filled the block up to the top with water and ran the test on all my cylinders and did not get any bubbles coming up from the cooling path of the block. Now I did find that some of my cylinders had moderate leakage, which are coming from the exhaust and intake valves using the audible testing method, but the boat runs fine, so I'm going to just enjoy the boat.

I think a good lessons learned on this one is that the bubbles in the top clear hose does not necessarily mean that there is a head gasket leak into your cooling passage!

Thanks for all your help on this one everyone!

I have been checking the engine oil to check for leaks but so far it looks fine and doesn’t look milky at all.

I didn’t know about the leak down test. Is it an easy and accurate test to do? It never hurts to double check for leaks.

By the way, my thermostat had stayed open so my port riser was running at about 160ish or hotter while my engine was running at 80s. I changed the stat and now my port side riser runs very similar to the other side at around 130s. But my VP port riser was running at about 90-100 with thermostat being open just for comparison if it helps.

The Leak down tester is a pretty good way to trouble shoot the condition of your cylinders and where leaks are occurring. I bought mine for about $28 online. I also have a vacuum gauge that has both negative and positive to help find top dead center for the testing. Search youtube for "Eric the car guy" and type in leak down test and he does a great job of explaining the process.
