Hey folks i have a question regarding a used gimbal housing that i bought to replace my broken one. Both are Bravo gimbals. The new (used) unit has 2 square holes on the bottom where the one on the boat does not have that option. The question being, are both the same gimbals

This purely my opinion - I wouldn't re-use a used gimbal.

If you want us to offer advice, it would help to do what you're working on, again my opinion.

Good question, Bondo. I may have wrongly assumed the bearing.

Just the gimbal housing not the bearing or bell housing. The gimbal is cracked where it meets the transom. So i had to go out and get a used one.
