Welp, the oldest announced to us yesterday at our mother's day lunch they are 14 weeks in.....

Absolutely ... tools are tools. That is rule #7 in the Enablers' Guide to Boat Repair Budgets.

Gray area, if the consumables are exclusively for my projects ( they never are ) but if ,even at a stretch , they could be used for house ( where she lives ) or her car then no ,they go against the general budget.

Ohh ,it has cost me a German oak wall clock ,a 14 m² garden shed and a Murano glass clown .....so far .....and I have to sell my ally dinghy, so yeah a bargain

just updated my spreadsheet and i'm $47 over budget but that does include some tools as well as the possible future motor ($450) so now that I'm about to start rebuilding and have all known needed supplies I think i'm going to win!

Greetings . . . I have been considering transitioning from having twin Sterndrives (I/O) engines and go to twin outboards. I could do this in one of 2 ways . . . 1) Sell my sterndrive boat (Cruisers Yacht 338 mid-cabin bowrider) and buy a same/similar boat that has twin outboards. 2)...
