Found some rocks with my prop...

That Number(0522) stamped on the Hub, is likely a Repair Work Order #, and the Prop looks like it has been repainted

What worked in the past has a good probability of working in the future. I'd get the same prop and call it good.

Bought it new from Amazon (not 3rd party). The lovely paint job is mine after repairing. Guess it could be counterfeit or misrepresented

Coming from Amazon.....who knows who made that prop and where it came from ? Over 65% of items from Amazon, never touched an Amazon facility. Most item are shipped from the actual supplier using Amazon boxes and advertising for a commision.

The only time I tried to bench true an aluminum prop the blade I was straightening cracked. Aluminum doesn’t like to bend and, unlike steel, has no memory of where it was.

The last time I asked a boat dealership if there was anyone in the area working on props I got 3 phone numbers to try.
Heat helps when rebending aluminum....
