Hello
I picked up what appears a 1986 EZ Loader trailer, been going through replacing hardware and finishing up replacing the roller wheels, my question is about the rear transom load bearing arms that the wheels attach to . Ive noticed on the inside of those cast aluminum arms are a nubbin stop so that when a boat is being loaded from the water there probably is a free pivot at one point??, also there is a long shaft that runs through the square channel that attaches both ends of the wheel wobble arms. My question boils down to do those arms need to be tightened down snug or do they need some sort of free pivot tightened just so far with the nylon lock nuts?.
