Well, those guys probably spit on each other while nose-to-nose on the line. We just don't see it. I bet that Chuck Bednarik, Jack Lambert, **** Butkis, and Ray Nitschke all did it.

I get that the NFL is trying to crack down on sportsmanship. Throwing a guy out of the game for spitting seems like overkill. Give a 15yd penalty or even make them sit out for 15min of game time. IDK.

Dak Prescott spit on the Eagle's field in front of Carter and Carter escalated. Honestly, if the NFL is serious than they should use replay better. It's long been the case that the "second guy" gets the penalty in the case of a fight or punches thrown. If you are assessing some kind of unsportsmen-like conduct penalty, let the NFL quickly review the tape and buzz the head ref if he needs to throw two flags. Maybe Dak and Carter should have been thrown out? That would have ruffled some feathers.

We will have to disagree. Prescott spit on the ground. They ALL do that. Carter spit right on Prescott. I do agree Prescott spit in carters direction knowing what a stupid arse he is and got the reaction he was hoping for. Carter fell into the trap.

No I would be willing to bet the old timers did not spit, they would get vengeance when the ball was in play, not a punk move like those pukes spitting at each other. Carter should be suspended for a game and fined.

As far as getting the second man, a Cowboy had his helmet ripped off by an Eagle and the refs nailed 2 Cowboy players.... I'm not necessarily a fan of either one...
