Hello! Missed this when buying the boat and the “inspection” I got turned out to be worthless. Trying to figure out how log of deal this crack is. I’ve taken boat out several times and haven’t noticed it getting worse…yet.
Any insight is appreciated!
I’m wondering if I should be using this in addition to muffs when running the motor out of the water but (clearly) don’t have a clue!
I also will have to eventually figure out HOW to winterizing in about a month or 2, but maybe one problem at a time.

It has a holly carb.
I’m assuming some hoses are supposed to connected to this flame arrestor but none are. Bought it used, motor was supposedly swapped, and I don’t know nearly enough…. sigh

Hello, i can’t remove the key unless it’s in the on position. I read elsewhere that this should be able to be fixed by adjusting something on the back to get the lock lined up correctly. Looking at my ignition, I don’t see any way I could do that. Do I just need to replace it? Or am I missing...
I did check the 2 relays that are on the trim hydraulic pump thing (I’m sure that’s not what it’s called) and found one thats got a melted plastic bubble on its side. I’ll get a meter and check it but I assume it’s bad. Thanks for easing my fears on hooking those up wrong and letting me know...
Thanks for your help on another issue Scott! Haven’t gone to the store and picked up a multimeter yet but I think I found at least part of the problem. Can’t get any pictures to upload but I’ve got a relay with a pretty good bubble of melted plastic coming out of its side in my hand at the moment.
