    pulling a 470 with o.e. charging system, installing 470 with alt upgrade, changes?

    so we got a used 470 with the alternator upgrade, but no paperwork on woring changes. anyone here have the info? the alt is a one wire fire to battery, but no idea what might change on the harness to the old voltage regulator or old stator??

    i have a 1977 Johnson 200hp v6 , and my temp sending unit is junk. do i go by the motor or the boat, or the guage to find replacement? it threads into a small bracket on the head and the tip touches the head for sensing. anyon happen to know a part number for this?

    I have a 200 v6 on my new boat.. am i incorrect that the red circled spots is where I "sould" have water spitting out when connected to a water hose and running? Or is this just where exhaust comes out? because on the 200, it dribbles out a tiny stream of water, not a pee stream and not dry...
