    Boat will not plain fast

Once it sits down it goes up to 5.5rpm or so. Gains speed. I also noticed on my cylinders for the drive there is a limiter that doesn't alow the drive to drop all the way. Would removing this making the drive drop more help me? Its about a 2" ring that I bolted to the end of one cylinder.

    Boat will not plain fast

I had 3 in the front. And 3 in the back.. took awhile for it to plain.. then we set sail again. Had 4 in the back and 1 up front. Had to have to more go up to get it down.. plus when we set sail the second time I was going against a 30 mile wind. I didn't think these would be factors.

    Boat will not plain fast

I bought a azure 200 and it has a 5.0 multiport merc. It has a duel prop bravo 3. But.. I couldn't get it to plain as I filled it with 35g of gas. I go to give it gas and it only pegs at 3k rpms and won't plain until I get some more people to the front. Any ideas? I do lower the trim all the way...

After draining the motor.. fill a drum with rv antifreeze and run a hose with muffs till red comes out of the exhaust.. then should I drain the antifreeze? Or leave the engine...

OMC Stringer Trim pump - Question.

Hello. My boat has a 3.8l v6 motor in it and runs a OMC Stringer Drive. The motor is good and the drive is good. The trim that actually raises the motor cylinders stop working. Not the Tilt outside the boat that quickly raises the drive up or down. I talking about the Fine tuning Trim that...

Electric shift stringer omc stern drive

Okay thanks. Is it pretty noticeable and accessible? Or literally where it goes through? Also. Inside of housing. (Boat side) or outside the housing. (Between drive and mount housing)

Electric shift stringer omc stern drive

So I'm assuming that there is nothing else that would be attached to the housing/ or running through?. Other than the shifting cables..like hoses or wires? I dont really see anything.

Electric shift stringer omc stern drive

I got a boat and the lower unit is cracked. But I also have another boat same motor.. same lower unit. My question is can I just pull the whole drive off the boat? The throttle cables are disconnected already, figured I'd just swap both drives and not mess with lower unit. Its a v6 3.8l 1984...
