    Mercruiser 5.7 anti-siphon valve

I was just going to look through the Mercury parts catalog based on my engine serial number and see if I can find it but I see now you're correct they didn't make the anti-siphon valve and I don't know which one to get and where to get it from I see all kinds online from 1/4 npt to 3/8 NPT...

    Engine coupler woes

The splines don't start for the first 1-2 inches of the coupler. Like Bondo said it's all about space and if there's a transom in the way it's going to be hard. Here's a pic of my engine with the coupler on and a closed up showing there are no splines visible for first few inches.

used incorrect thru hull transducer for my deadrise

i should have measured manually but sadly i didn't. i have a 1996 sea ray 210 and found the original brochure that states the boat has a 15 degree deadrise. initially i found the specs for a later year by mistake and it stated i had a 22 degree deadrise. based on that i purchased a bronze 2...

ignition switch source for fuel pump relay kit?

So what exactly is the slave solenoid? My circuit breaker setup looks a little different than than his. Here is mine, is this the slave solenoid circled in red? So think I have the wiring down now. Oil pressure safety switch: "P" - to trigger wire on relay. "S" - to empty pole on starter...

ignition switch source for fuel pump relay kit?

That's why I was worried using a 12volt switch source from the coil because I didn't want to send unneeded current/amps through the oil pump safety switch. Not sure where the slave solenoid is

ignition switch source for fuel pump relay kit?

So I found your original picture It looks like on the relay you have the relay mounted right on top of the master circuit breaker The main red power wire for the relay you have going to the main circuit breaker instead of the battery Then the purple and white wire coming off the relay you...

ignition switch source for fuel pump relay kit?

i know i know i see it emphasized all the time, unfortunately when i did vortec heads, i ended up with a comp cam camshaft upgrade that does not support mech fuel pump (missing the fuel pump lobe) so we used a blck off plate for the old mech fuel pump location on the non vortec block. the kit...

Hate to bump up an old thread but I'm looking for this exact fuel line kit for my 1409 carburetor. I too have a 3/8 nipple just coming out of the side and I would like to switch to this banjo-style fitting line setup. Do you remember where you purchased it from?
