Wood was in fair shape overall. Made cutting the new one pretty straight forward. Was holding lots of water weight, probably 3 times heavier than the new transom

I was dreading this part but it worked out fine using a camper jack. No cursing at all it did lift the boat at first, just gave a wiggle and presto

Thanks ! If I had my way I'd be working nonstop until it was done. But a few hours here and there is all I can manage so that's what it's going to be. My buddy at the lumber yard is on holidays still so I haven't picked up plywood yet. Still waiting for gluvit and some other things I ordered...

I wasn't planning on painting the boat at first... The paint is in great condition, or so i thought. The paint seems to rub off on my...

You know it guy ! Floor came out nice, good condition for a template. Lots of mouse tunnels in the foam. Hull looks nice under there. Transom brace has small cracks to address on either side. Transom and splash well are coming out next. I've already removed most of the rivets I could find on...

I can't wait to make something happen with this rig. Watching everyone else make progress is keeping me sane. So many wicked projects on here!!! We have had a solid 6 months of winter already. The temps here are gradually warming, soon enough I'll be swatting mosquitoes.

Took a break and did some traveling. I am slowly picking away at it here. Working on getting a wood stove in my man cave. I have a 240v electric heater but it's not enough when the temps drop. Finally removed the motor

Where the ski pole was attached to the boat there was a metal rod attached to the transom, also across the inside of the splash well. It tied it all together pretty good.

Found some time. As long as the honey-do list is around there is never enough time. The wood in the bow seating area was surprisingly in good shape. I could almost reuse it... nah. Makes a nice template

Well I haven't made as much progress as I'd like... I have been spending long hours at work and on the weekends the family duties take the rest of my time. I did manage to clean out the boat, removed all the broken glass, the seats and vinyl from the floor. Prepping for the real tear down. But...
