    It also used to start super easy, now I have to run the started for a few seconds before it starts.

    I have done that, it will not die, even if I hold it down for 30 seconds. Should i install a new fuel line ? And can I run the carb without that filter in it, it’s a quadra jet.

    I have a 5.7 omc 1987. My engine never heats up and is always under 110 degrees. Could I have a missing thermostat and is that bad ?

    I checked for rubber in bilge aswell as well as the rest of surrounding areas no rubber anywhere also not really a burning rubber smell either. I don’t think I would be able to putt in 5miles on a spun coupler. It would just disintegrate on me. I think it must be prop by the sounds of it.
