Hooking up a sionyx nightwave to a Simrad Go SX9

It has other inputs which I believe are available so I was thinking an adapter might make it work.

Hooking up a sionyx nightwave to a Simrad Go SX9

I have a Simrad Go SX9 and have been looking for affordable night vision for my boat since I am hoping to do more night runs this year and while I loved my radar last year it just didn't give me the confidence to run at night like I need/want to. Right now what should take 1.5 hours would take...

    Truck reporting over hitch weight

I have maybe ~170lbs worth of stuff and people in at the lightest when this triggers. In theory I think I get 1200-1400 lbs of payload or something like that. So 900 lbs for trailer max then even say 200 lbs of people and stuff and it should still be well under.

    Truck reporting over hitch weight

Ended up getting someone to pick up one of these for me and I'll grab it after the holidays when I see them and test it out first chance I get with snow gone. Might be a bit off with the winterization but should give a rough idea. still

    Truck reporting over hitch weight

I can pretty well ensure I am not over with stuff and people in the truck, I myself weigh about 140lbs soaking wet and it goes off when I am by myself. The only stuff I keep in my truck is a small backpack full of overnight stuff as well as 4 rachet straps and 1 tarp. I normally grab everything...

    Truck reporting over hitch weight

I agree, I hate the new trucks for half of what they offer and the other half is either nice or I just don't care. If I could get a 10 year old duramax I gladly would but around here they all have too much rust for my liking

    Truck reporting over hitch weight

I did not, I was basing it on what the truck was reporting. I know the weight would be too high for a bathroom scale and also have not the slightest clue where the closest public scale would be. I know there are some scales along the 401 highway for transports for safety checks and the only...

    Truck reporting over hitch weight

I have a 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 without the max towing package. It is not ideal but works fine for my 21ft center console boat. However, it sits a bit low for my comfort which I suspect is tied to what it was reporting last time I drove it. It says I am over hitch weight (GVWR) however I...

Keeping the rain and wind off us on the water

Yeah that one is hard so I am trying to figure out options for it. I figured keep the wind and rain off her during crappy weather and maybe a chance but not sure

Keeping the rain and wind off us on the water

No it does not have sail curtains on it though that could be an option to install. It is narrow ish though fits well for single handed running the majority of the time. The curtains limit me to the bow but I think they would be fine if I could just pop them down to let me jump up front around...

Keeping the rain and wind off us on the water

Having something made is probably the route I will have to go. I doubt I can find anything for a boat this small. Open is exactly what I wanted however I bought the boat before I got the girlfriend who hates the pain of the rain and hates getting too wet so I got to solve it if she is to come...

Keeping the rain and wind off us on the water

I have a 2019 Blackfin 212CC (21ft center console) with the hard top and tiny windshield. I am trying to figure out a plan for how I can keep the wind and rain off us as much as we can next year. I was thinking I could get some brackets and mount plexi glass on the hard top posts and that...

Easier time putting on the trailer

I have scraped my skeg a few too many times from that. I saw all the responses here yesterday saying that so I figured when pulling out yesterday to give it another shot. Scrapped it again. The 2 ramps I go to around here are apparently the perfect angle for scrapping the skeg while doing it...

Easier time putting on the trailer

Currently I load my Blackfin 212CC on the trailer almost always by myself as my girlfriend is not comfortable with assisting or directing me too much. I also have a small issue of sometimes missing the winch post depending on winds and current. I also have to climb out the front of the boat onto...

Charger for on trailer or shore power

Good to know that one works well I bought it that day as a temporary thing till I could solve it long term. What kind of plug do you mean?

Charger for on trailer or shore power

I don't think the batteries are **** I've had this before and they are low but likely not enough to damage them. Will have to test and see once I can charge them. Didn't know if a charging system for a slip vs a trailer would be different. Seems like just need a shore power plug and then...

Charger for on trailer or shore power

I have a center console that is pretty new with dual batteries. It has a selector in the bilge area. I keep it on a trailer currently and am looking at part time leaving it in a slip. Looking for a power solution to plug it in and keep the batteries fresh and good to go. I think they got down...

Using boat with a bad trim

Ended up using it and went amazing. Weirdly enough I have no issues with the trim now. Works perfect. I am guessing air in the lines somehow
