    2003 johnson 15hp lower unit oil change ?'s

    how often should i change the gear oil in my lower unit? i changed it last night just to check it because i just bough the motor and boat. no water just nasty looking and smelling i let it drain really good then pushed some new oil threw is a couple times then filled and sealed.
