    How long is a boat good for

    Just wondering life span. Let's say boat is taken care of. Repairs done to it when needed ect. Does fiberglass have a life span. What your guys thoughts.

    New Boat ( Well new to me)

    I bought this 1974 Larson 1550 Shark for my families first boat. Not the prettiest but it should do. It has a 120 H.P Johnson. The floors solid and transom are good. Just need summer time now lol .

    Bow storage

    Just looking for some help on the possibility of being able to add more storage to my 1975 larson shark. In the open bow there is a seat that has no storage compartment under it. I was wondering if i would be able to cut one in without any strength issues

    Am i correct on year

    Ok her is the model of my out board 120 hp i bought. CJ120TLCDC I believe it is an 1986. If i am right would this be the Vro2. Any info on these is great

    Carbs jets ect

    Ok i have been looking at the keeping of my vro system or not. Here is what i have found all over. That the vro rarely fails and it is actually the jets being plugged causing the cylinder to not get proper oil which causes the problem. i could be cloudy on this do to not being a marine mechanic...

    120 h.p Johnson vro

    Ok iam new to the whole boat deal. I have looked at a boat with a 120 hp johnson vro. Was told it is a 1981. Leads to my first question i can only find info that says the vro came out in 1984. Regardless of when it came out tell me your opinion of these motors. Still has vro hooked up.
