    75 135 broke exhaust man.....

    hey guys i took the outer exhaust cover off and 2 bolts broke so i decided to take the inner exhaust cover off to be able to get vice grips on the snapped studs and apply a little heat. whan i took the covers off i found the exhaust manifold ?? is broken on the bottom... here are pics...

    1975 135 johnson so while waiting for my carb rebuild kits to get here i decided to drain the lower unit ... i did and it was NASTY so i decided to remove it to do a flush with some diesel fuel.... here what i found when i pulled it off ...

    well im about to get started on my 18 ss after a long stall. i have both consoles removed and and am going to be removing the deck. also need to replace the transom so should i just go ahead and remove the splash well to make it easier to do the deck and the transom ?? the deck was installed...
