    Fuse sizes for blower, bilge, etc?

    I need to replace the fuses in the boat I just bought, and some are missing. What fuses should I use for the following:<br />Bilge pump<br />Blower<br />Horn<br />Nav lights<br />Ignition.<br /><br />I don't see the info in my book.<br />Boat is 1984 120 Mercruiser, 4 cyl, but I doubt that matters.

    1 stringer soft, floor is ok--fix stringer?

    I have a 16 foot 4winns. The stringer under the driver's seat is soft, but the floor looks ok. Can anything can be done without tearing everything up? Sould I leave the stringer alone until the floor gets bad? Will spraying anything in there help?

    How to check 1984 mercruiser sterndrive

    How should I check a sterndrive on a boat I'm considering? I looked at the fluid (clear) and pushed up and down on it to look for transom flexing, and test drove it. Is there anything else to consider?<br /><br />Thanks

    Boat sat outside 4 rainy months-rot likely?

    I am considering a 1984 4winns boat that was sitting outside for the last 4 rainy months. It is hard to see underneath the deck, but is it likely there is rot down there? It was garage kept before that.

    Milky oil, ran it, then clear-problem?

    Ran 5 minutes without water-engine damaged?

    5500 RPM Mean Motor Running Well?

    115 HP Johnson, 1978, on tri-hull 17' Glastron. I get 5500 rpm, but top speed is only about 32mph. Does the fact that it runs smoothly at 5500 rpm mean all is well with the motor? I realize top speed is also determined by the boat shape, weight, etc., but it seems too slow.
