    Flywheel eating starter pawls

    The is a 2003 25hp Johnson The pull cord knot is keeping the starter pawl from retracting. If they don?t retract the flywheel destroys them. The manual recommends this knot but its just too bulky. The knot is greased and pulled human tight.
