    5/16 too big 1/4 too small

    Im trying to pull the flywheel on my 25hp 2003 johnson a 5/16 bolt is too big and 1/4 is too small. the 5/16 will start to thread but they feel too tight and and it feels like Im gonna strip the threads. Theres 17 threads on the 5/16 Any ideas

    Rented harmonic puller but

    I rented a harmonic puller from auto zone. I can’t tell weather or not the 1/4 " bolts that came with it are grade 8. There are no markings on the bolts and they are a shiny silver color. Anyone have experience with this auto zone puller? Thanks

    Why no gasket for L/U

    The lower unit bolts to the shaft with a metal to metal connection. Why is that? Doesn?t water leak in there and cause corrosion?
