    Boats from work.

The Harrison left this morning, we have another pontoon with a big slide tower getting a new floor, big swim platform has the ladder mounted, and a guy did a turn around in our back driveway towing a very nice truck.

    Not so welcome anymore....

It must depend on where you go in the forum. I mostly hang out in the restoration bit, because I don't know anything about engines. I don't really see much of that, but I haven't been here very long either. Hopefully I haven't done it. I try not to be short with people, but at only 5ft and a...

I painted the pontoon panels today and of course I forgot to take pictures of it cleared before I left. Masked and ready. Base coat.

Why the duplicate post? @Scott Danforth I'm assuming this is worthy of bringing it to the attention of a mod on this site.

    Modifying a 1975 Trail-R-Craft

It would be pretty easy to prep and paint the Trickstep to match your trailer better. You don't have to spend big bucks on automotive paint, some rustileum will do since it will have a good quality factory paint to go over. We get some weed control boats that have electric winches. Those things...

    1995 Crownline 202BR Restore

I recently did a transom job with a clearence issue like that. My supervisor has an extended shaft straight die grinder that helped a lot, along with a few carbide bits and a stone ball. Later, I had closed the gap even more with glass, and had to come up with something else. I taped a stir...

Boss says this is a Sonic. Haven't seen one of those before. I think he's just putting new bunks on the trailer.

1989 Sea Ray 200 BR Interior rebuild and new layout

To gel the sides would take a bit more work than recarpeting, unless you are also replacing the floor. EVA will highlight any uneven spots in the floor, so get it as smooth as you can first.

Nason Fulthane single stage paint. First pic is sanded and ready to spray, next two are qith three coats. Not a lot of light on it so it doesn't show very well on the camera.

Sprayed the waverunner this morning. Also brought in a big Harris pontoon. The owner just bought it and drove down a freshly chip and sealed road. Left some rock chips on the front.

82 Starcraft MR 180 floor, slight refit and leaks

My bad, I stopped scrolling at the first comment. I figured all his testing would be in the original post. Note to self, learn to read.

82 Starcraft MR 180 floor, slight refit and leaks

Interesting. It makes sense that a thinner piece would be able to flex mor before breaking. I wish he did a test trying to pull the screw through too. That concerns me more than the flexing strength.

82 Starcraft MR 180 floor, slight refit and leaks

I don't know, I didn't order it. 3/4 I think would actually be weaker because it's a higher ration of coosa to glass. If you want stronger, I would suggest getting thinner and laminating multiple layers together with glass to get your desired thickness. It is very light, but not exactly budget...

82 Starcraft MR 180 floor, slight refit and leaks

My opinion is coosa is crap. It won't rot, but it's super weak. Before glass, you can snap it with your hands easily. You need to glass both sides, and the glass is pretty much all the strength. Some might say that the resin will penetrate and make it strong, but I've done that and it really...
