    1975 115 straight 6, bottom carb leaks

    I have seen a lot of leaking carb posts, I am figuring a stuck float. The gas drips out the front where the mesh cover is. In pic one the last owner has put a wire to hold the bottom of the mesh cover in place. screw is missing. I then noticed gas coming out a tube on the underside of the carb...

    tilt/trim mercury 115 question

    We have our first boat (used). It is a 15' bowrider with a 115 1975 mercury on it. There is no TNT on it and it's quite a heavy motor. It there a recommended way to raise and lower it? Other then a really expensive after market TNT?
