    new engine overheats

assuming since the outdrive has the pump in it, this is an alpha unit. did you replace the impeller back in 2016, or yesterday? because rubber parts go off of calendar hours, not use hours. your 9 year old rubber could be deteriorating and you could be loosing vanes. are you getting 15 psi...

    A wiring question

ABYC recommends 18 gauge, minimum not for capacity, however for strength 22 gauge can easily run 5 amps thru them, however in a lighting situation, you are only running about 3 watts. the 18 gauge you bought will be more than adequate.

You want a spray out the muffs about 10 ft. You want to supply 7-10 GPM minimum to the muffs I use a 1" hose and 80psi (used to be 110 psi, until the county fixed the substation)

The issue is that idling in the water, the SWL is at least 8" above the crank centerline of the motor and the impeller is flooded On hoses and using muffs, you need more than 30-50 psi to get the water to the impeller. Use duct tape if needed

You may have to make up a surrogate for the ladder pocket when you move the nest. Then slowly move the surrogate away from the boat Did that when robins made a nest in my extension ladder when I lived in Wisconsin, and again down here in Florida with a cardinal nest

    Hole shot

Or 15x15p. The issue is getting that large drag load moving. You need a bit of slip to get the RPMs up, and a low enough pitch to pull the load. A single skier is a 400# load. A tube is up to a 2400# load if it submarines Since tubing is a 20mph event vs skiing at 30mph, I would most...

Vinyl Plank Flooring Installation Decision ???

Joe, you assume it holds calibration. Ours is over temp one use, and may be under temp the next. We usually set the oven and adjust on the fly for each use
