    I forgot to mention the new hydraulic steering on this boat. 🚤 It was my first experience with the hydraulic type. It's incredibly easy to turn with almost no effort to move the wheel. There's not much feedback though. I'm used to the cable style, but the hydraulic type works very well.

    What hull was your Black Max on? The PO of my XR6 had it on a bass boat and said he got 70mph, which I do believe based on my own experience with a 150 on a 17' bass boat years ago.

    Oh yeah, the heat was absolutely oppressive today. Absolutely steamy with 92 degree heat and 95% humidity. More like July than May. And I'm learning that I just can't take that kind of heat anymore. 🥵

    Thank you. I agree that a thick skin should not be required here. I've been on other non-boat forums which were a real free-for-all and they weren't very pleasant. There are a couple of guys here that I have on ignore. Mostly the holier-than-thou types. And there are others who are also...
