    Many marinas frown on those folks who fill fuel tanks in the slip to save $$$-----Something to do with liability and " gasoline handling " rules / regulations.----Gasoline spills are a big issue in a marina!

    Correct that would be a hose for an old style speedometer.----Many folks today use a GPS signal for speed or their phone.-----How times have changed.

    Get the correct size----MAGNET WIRE-----Count the turns / direction as you remove the wire.------Carefully wind on the new wire.

    The lower shift rod should be screwed all the way into the lower unit.-----Make sure it does not turn while assembling the coupler.----A 2 or 3 cylinder motor??----Model # is required here.----Is this a " new " to you motor ?

    Used to fuel up at the marina.---Used to add a liter of oil to my 500 liter tank.-----Then 50 liters of gasoline.-----Then another liter of oil and 50 liters of gasoline.-----By the time I idled out to the lake and got up on plane it would be well mixed.----Never an issue.
