Not much can go wrong with a carburetor that warrants replacement.----Unless it was molested by water or attacked by an owner.------What is/was your motor doing / not doing ?
I have more than a dozen of these carburetors.----I do not remove item 38 unless there is lots of gunk in the carburetor.-----There are many other thing to focus on with these wonderful 6 HP motors !!
Made offshore.-----Marketed with different color paint / decals / brands.----Their contracts for spares differed.----When stock runs out , you are out of luck.----Johnson did not make the parts , so they can not remake / supply spare parts.
