    Yup as said above to all the comments. I used Epoxy for my entire rebuild and I like it. The glue thing is your call. Best of luck and get to it.

Millions of opinions here on fuel tank install, materials etc. Typically the CG does not recommend using the hull of the boat as a direct support for the tank, hence a blocked up base to hull then platform.
