My 2015 grand dodge grand 's towing capacity

???..... Let me get this straight, cause I'm going bananas. The seller is telling you it's a 1996 Doral....HIN 55e19916....18'......no such thing, right? People on here are saying it's not a 1996 doral and sump 'thns not right. Now you say you've got a HIN that matches the boat in the pic..EXCEPT...

    13x19 Prop Vs 13.2x19

yep, if it's the same manufacturer it should be equal in performance. But if it's a different manufacturer, then as stated above, performance can be different. I tried to tweak my WOT rpm up a little, so I tried a Solas 3-15.5x13 in place of my Merc 3-16x13......no difference.

Old tandem pontoon trailer question - no brakes

good. I just mentioned bigger wheels if you had no choice. you didn't ask or say, but I sure like my electric setup. My trailer was used when purchased. I wanted disc brakes but they would not fit.

Old tandem pontoon trailer question - no brakes

My pontoon trailer is a tandem with 10" wheels. I added these electric brakes to replace my surge brakes. Luckily, my trailer already had brake hubs. They fit the 10" hubs. You'll have to get the brake hubs in addition to the brakes. The hubs need to match the spindles. Spindle/bearings are...

Water test on 115 HO etec

propping, even if someone knows what they are doing, can be....interesting, difficult, and expensive. 🙄 I can't answer that question specifically, only by example. My new Merc. in 2021 came with a merc. 4blade - 14x14..an even pitch. I needed a 4 - 14x13, merc didn't make one...No one did that...

Water test on 115 HO etec

ok...so, I think rubex is correct. Jimmbo is correct. You have to test the boat in one configuration. And I'm sorry, I ass-u-me(d) ...you knew more, so I'll back up some. Your motor operating manufacturers rpm range is 5500-6000 @ WOT. Standard opinions on ventilation plate starting position is...

Water test on 115 HO etec

well...I finally decided to look up your motor myself and, the info that's been posted on here is not right for your motor. I should quit assuming. Your rpm range @ WOT is 5500- 6000, according to Rubex....unless THEY are wrong. So, depending on what you want, it's fine where it's at. So...

Water test on 115 HO etec

I'd be scared too, for my motor. You're 600 rpm above max, so I'd have to go with a 21P. Propping can be ...expensive. I'm ass-u-me ing the motor height is correct.

    Mercruiser 4.3 Prop Question

eh, 3800 is lugging your engine. I'd be concerned with getting close to my max rpm @WOT. Then let performance be what it is. Generally speaking, a 2" change lower will get around 400 rpm's higher, still under your recommended range. and, yes, is the engine healthy?

    Cracked Engine Pod Mount

in that case it looks like an age fatigue issue, which suck. I'd still use a transom saver after fixing. I was surprised at how much bounce I saw on mine without a saver.

Water test on 115 HO etec

I'll go out on a limb and just say HP is HP.... 1960, 1980, 2007, 2019...doesn't matter. Then I'd say what is the rpm @ WOT. If you tune for more than rated HP, you change parameters but the bottom line #'s are what count for propping purposes. See what the 15p does , go from there.

    Cracked Engine Pod Mount

couple of questions. Is the motor original with the boat? How big is it. How old is the boat. Do you trailer it often or regularly? If so, do you use a transom saver.

    Top speed

well, right out'a the box, there should be no water in any toon...period. First and foremost, you have to find that leak. Most common areas to leak are at the toon section seams, and the brackets attaching the toon to the deck.....I've had both. I don't have a center toon so there may be...
