Voids found after new transom install

The ole' turkey baster method...yea, yea. That could work. Personally I would like to see the whole void so I can repair properly and never doubt myself. I was going for inside just to save the exterior transom skin repair, patch, paint. Scott is usually 99.9% on the money.

Voids found after new transom install

That's a lot of voids. Resin alone won't do much. Its brittle and would probably crack on stress. Needs chop strand. I would open all the voids from inside as large as the void, fill with PB/chop strand the finish with glass. Slow tough repair. Bummer.

    Holes and the unknowns

I wouldn't so much about the keel issues yet. It all begins with a total rehab meaning remove floor, stringers etc. Keel is last part of the fix. Probably remove cap and set boat in a cradle.

Just watch out for being too thick. Gauges and other things basically have a max depth they can be adjusted to. Post some pics. of your progress.

Rehab SportCraft 222 1983 deep V hull cuddy walkaround

Checked out the lumber from my buddy neighbor and it is ok but in need of help. So I pulled the trigger on this. I'll frame inside to make it noteworthy. I will be able to fabricate the decking with his free materials. So time to get busy and clear some ground. Plan to make exterior extended...

Rehab SportCraft 222 1983 deep V hull cuddy walkaround

Yup, the boat tarp has a tear or two but they are easy to repair. That holds up pretty well and provides good space to work inside while covered. The shed is for workspace and storage right behind the boat.

    1972 Checkmate MX-15 Rebuild

I turned over a couple of dog years ago and Crap what a beast. Neighbors even said "oh you turned it over." Pooper is more than I want to deal with but so hey... time to learn after I get the rest of the electrical done. Every year I bomb it and turn it. Horse is good. Soldier is not.

Rehab SportCraft 222 1983 deep V hull cuddy walkaround

I'm leaning to something like 14 x 12. My neighbor says he has the wood and panels to supply me at awesome rates. Some is not as fresh as I like but still worth the deal. Time to get busy again.

Rehab SportCraft 222 1983 deep V hull cuddy walkaround

Well on my end the tarp/tent I bought 2-3 years ago has turned to shreds. I was going to buy another one but the wife has convinced me to build a real shed. Looking to build a shed that meets my storage and rehab needs. Sucks but way overdue. Diddle on the other stuff but Mr. winter is about to...
