Convert 14ft aluminum closed bow to open

The closed bow may have something to do with the hulls integrity. I can't tell if it has bench seats or not . I do not see any rivets in the hull where the " bench seats " would attach to the sides of the hull . If they are ,then they would help keep the hull from twisting ,just like the closed...

    A/c not pumping water

I would remove the hose that goes from the strainer to the AC pump off ,at the pump . Open the valve and make sure water is flowing out . If so ,hook it back up and try it . That's the way I've primed it when having a issue with water not flowing at the beginning of the year . My pump is below...

Where to Find Kohler 5E Generator Motor Mount / Fuel Pump bracket

I would mount it somewhere else . All you have are two wires and a fuel line , not hard to extend any of those items to a new mounting location.

2nd battery needed if installing prawn puller??

Buy a small jump box for less than a hundred bucks, will fit in your glove box. Leave it in the boat for the season , then in the car for the winter ,problem solved.

    Boat Top W/Windows

Yeah , I can see a convertible _ Bimini top going down the highway at 60mph , all shredded up or ripped off in a couple of trips .

    Boat Top W/Windows

Complete custom canvas for what your asking . No , it won't have " windows " to see out of . You're asking for a canvas that you can put on , have windows to see if it's raining, then leave it on while you trailer it home . All I can envision is a canvas with a zipper opening above the captains...

    Downsize Fuel Tank

Uhh , run it a half a tank and don't open a " can of worms " by replacing a stock tank setup to gain some minimal space in the bilge for crappie fishing . Like what are you going to store in the bilge to begin with that is know stored someplace else on the boat ?

    2003 Sea Pro 170CC

Can't think of anything fish related ( downriggers ,outriggers , planer board mast , etc. ) that would fit over that toe busting pedestal. All I can think of is a bar stool type set up that would slip over it and get locked into position with two of the holes in the rod itself . You can see...

    Sealing Closed Cell Foam Flotation

If you could " seal " closed cell foam ,Boston Whaler would of been using that method the day it was discovered. The cells break down when they are constantly being pounded through the hull . Probably 95% of the Whalers built have wet foam ,doesn't stop them.from being used and abused .

    Glasspar Avalon 1966 pricing

Whatever the motor and trailer are worth is where I would start . The hull by itself in my world , is 500 to , if pristine ,1000 .00 . And then you have to find the right ass for the seat . Nothing special about a 66 Glaspar Avalon .

Surprise My electric car is not charged.

Mother Nature is going to do what it wants . Did you know the Great Lakes were formed by glaciers ,when the planet was mostly frozen . Then it warmed up , before people inhabited Earth . Hmmm.

Mercury Barb Male / Female Connection

I would run the engine ,then disconnect the fuel line at the tank . Then fill up the tank and reconnect the fuel line . There is probably some pressure in the fuel line and when you connect the fittings you're releasing that pressure ,gas . Or put a rag around it to catch the gas before it hits...

Question regarding the usage of O3 (ozone generators) to keep water clean

99% of the people I know use bottled water on boats for drinking ,not from the boats faucet . If you use the the water from the tanks on a daily basis it won't go " bad " and start to smell . I do agree with the RV chlorine approach as well .

    Whale Water Heater troubleshooting

Sounds like air in the system. Just keep running the hot water , stop it once in awhile so pressure builds . Happens to me every spring when I fill up the system after draining it for the winter .

Where you buy gasoline is critical.

I use 87 semi ethanol and also buy the cheapest gas from the local Indian reservation, which has always had a unwarranted rap for water in there tanks . Transfer that gas into a few different boats and never ever had a problem with it. Boats don't sit around ,I use them . No gummed up carbs ...

    Bilge sump question

One possibility is the top half of the hull , ( the part above the rubrail ) has water intrusion. The source could be the rubrail , or any part that is bolted or screwed into the upper part of the hull and is not sealed correctly. That water will find its way to the inner hull . Previous...

    Bilge sump question

Doesn't look like the depressed area was done at the factory . Pretty shoddy workmanship . I would think the sump area cut out would of been finished, gel coated like the rest of the sump area . Looks like someone used a hole saw ,overlapped it and cut the top of the finished gel coat / " floor...
