    Larson 210 Senza

Welcome aboard: The rub rail is not OE, really. It was a supplier piece. You can buy any rub rail that fits your channel. If you need a new channel, you can find that as well.

Just thought I'd share a nice photo.

Been up in Northern Michigan this week at our family cottage: Went over to the AuSable River for a couple of hours. The view from our shoreline during the day. Sunset from the shore.

    Heat

... so far it's taking this one about 23 years. I do okay, but when we hit 90 and above, I struggle.

    MacBook Pro . . . Tragedy

Depends. I feel like after Catalina they started streamlining the OS a bit. But I like starting with an older OS on a reinstall and working my way up.

    MacBook Pro . . . Tragedy

^^^ I would stay back a version for the time being. Ventura is the new one, and it's pretty good and stable ... but Big Sur was solid.

    MacBook Pro . . . Tragedy

Might be a little late to the party, but if you've got another Mac at hand you can create a USB Installer. Might be able to just wipe it completely and re-boot with that. Sounds more like a hardware issue, but sometimes it works out the other way. But ... the M2 is a nice chip :)

When you're 20 miles from home and see this bearing down on you...

I know the ocean is different: I've only been caught on the Gulf in a storm once, and fortunately I was not the skipper. We had launched from the beach, so had to come in the same way. There was no way to "ride out" the storm, so we had to break the surf and get to the trailer. But dude knew...

When you're 20 miles from home and see this bearing down on you...

Got caught like that once here in TN. What was the worst was we beat the brunt of the storm back to the ramp; but the waves were coming big enough that I ran the risk of bashing the keel on rocks to get to the dock. Glad y'all made it in.

Showing the Boston Whaler 13 some TLC . . .

Those are supposed to be great little boats. I've always wanted one ... or a 17' Montauk :D

    Wacanda

Welcome aboard. There's a little about Wacanda HERE. That boat looks like a late 60s or early 70s model to me. Is there a capacity plate on the boat (usually up by the helm) or a Hull ID Number stamped into the stern (Usually on the starboard side under the rub rail)?

    Trout

Haven't fished salmon or steelhead in ages. Brookies I think are native even down into Georgia. If you ever get the chance to fish in the Great Smokey Mountains, take it. It's difficult fishing (thought I was gonna' break a hip trying to wade it), but it's beautiful country to be in -...

    Trout

Brook trout are the natives, but we have Brown, Rainbow and Cut Throat. I've caught all except the Cut Throat. Nothing huge for me, but I heard of some pretty good size fish. - You can also run into most of your normal freshwater stuff like bass, catfish, etc. Tried fishing the Smokies in...

    Trout

Been fly fishing since I was a kid. Dad and my brother and I fished around the AuSable River in Michigan, and now I fish a couple of the rivers in TN. Looks like a nice brown.

    Is this a rare silverline?

None really. You can read about it HERE and a little write up I did HERE. When Silverline / Moorehead Plastics was struggling, they expanded through an investor to add a snowmobile line. But it didn't go too well. Arctic needed a facility for production expansion (IIRC) and so the partnership /...

Thanks Joe: as soon as life slows down, I really need to just catch you for lunch or meet up for a boat ride. // Funny part is, after lookin' at the lineup ... I have no clue who most all of the bands are!
