Water in bilge has returned in 1995 Four Winns 190 Horizon

Sorry. Totally disagree also. My bilge is dry as a bone, no matter how many hours I'm out. The OP has a leak he needs to address.

HELP!! 2001 Volvo Penta SX running hot

There's a water tube between the lower and upper unit that can corrode and create the symptoms you're having. See item 47 below.

    Lower until help

You need a Volvo Penta SX-M drive in that ratio. Try Boatwrench.com for rebuilt units. How did it fail over the winter?

    Parking on incline

I think the jack broke because you have a donut under the wheel and the jack is taking some lateral load. All lateral (downhill) load should be taken by the wheel chocks. The jack is only designed to take vertical load. I would also place the jack as far forward is you can on the other side...

    Heat Exchanger on Volvo 5.0

My heat exchanger has the cap right on top of it. In theory you should be able to see coolant flow once the thermostat opens. HOWEVER, the one time I tried that coolant blew out of the heat exchanger as the thermostat opened, making quite a mess. Now I fill it, cap it, run it until the...

    1994 horizon 180 omc cobra 5.0

It's possible the flappers were removed per a service bulletin. They were removed on my boat. Look down each pipe and pull the drive and look into the exhaust port to see if they're lodged in the pipe, if they were installed. How did the water flow out of the bellows look "clogged"? Did the...

    SX-M Second Lower Anode?

I'd like to improve the corrosion protection on my joint venture '95 Volvo SX-M / OMC Cobra SX drive. It has multiple layers of paint and anti-fouling paint and each year I am priming and repainting areas that flake off due to corrosion. The main lower anode (Item 53 below) has a good...

Rinker 212/Volvo SX M Throttle Cable

It would depend on the compartment, but it could be a length that doesn't coil well. Plus, I can imagine it would wear out sooner if it had sharp bends in it. Why don't you order both lengths and return the one you don't need?

    Stingray 208cr trimtabs question

The Nauticus site states, "...and stabilizer system that automatically adjusts to the sea conditions." That would imply they are spring loaded. I would call them to see if they think the springs are ceased.

    Question on my anodes

I've read if you do both salt and fresh, use aluminum. That's what I use. From Fisheries Supply, "Aluminum alloys offer some protection in freshwater but not as much as magnesium – so aluminum would only be recommended if your boat is intermittently in fresh water."...

    New radio receiver

My boat came with cassette and no input jack, so I installed a Dual radio. Any brand will do and it's the same installation as in a car. If you match the brand you currently have, it may have the same wire harness and all you'll need to do is unplug the harness from the back of the current...

    Stalling issue

A one time fill with ethanol fuel would not cause your issue. Can you further explain when it's stalling? Just during idle or when trying to increase the RPMs?

    squeaky leaf springs

Great responses above. Note that WD40 is not a lubricant. It's primarily for displacing water, hence the WD. Try Boeshield T9 on the springs. It leaves a wax coating that helps prevent corrosion.
