    Compartment you're looking at in those photos is a ski locker. The drain is to allow water to run back to your bilge. Not to be an alarmist, but your bilge under the engine doesn't look right. Are you sure someone didn't replace that floor in the past?

    Welcome aboard Rambo: Pros and cons are simply this: how well it was cared for. That boat is nearly 20 years old. If it was well cared for and runs, then the original manufacturing "cons" are probably negligible against spending the money on a new boat that doesn't have them.
