    First things First ,No cold chisels, Do the job right and you wont wreck ****. Second thing is you dont need to take anything apart on the water to get the carb to fill. Open the low speed screw an 1/8 of a turn at a time and try that first.

    The cam has 2 small screws holding it in from the bottom loosen those for your adjustment. The adjustable arm wont work with the recoil safety.

    Looks normal. Pee stream won't flow until thermostat opens. Did you make sure the washers are on the impeller? No cracks on the housing grommet

    75 and 79 are different motors. The 75 is a 22 CID block the 79 is a 32 CID block. Not much in common

    That motor would not have normally come with a 5 in spacer for a 20" shaft. Center section would have been cast as a 20".

    compression might be ok. Sounds like you are running on 1 cylinder. Check you points and coils
