firing order for GM is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 but that's not how the cap is wired. Did not see this mentioned in the manual and if you used the firing order it would not run right.
Like the title says, my buddy`s big block was acting funny. low compression , slight moisture issue. pulled the head and found the gasket blown between 2 and 4.
#4 intake lifter depressed about a 1/4 inch more than the rest.So new lifters and a head check coming.

For those impossible to find deck drains use a thru hull fitting shaved down to fit. Most will simply screw into the OEM threaded fitting.
If you cut off the hose area. The Wellcraft 28 coastal uses these for deck drains and fish box drains. Chucked in a lathe to skin it and reduce the diameter...

very, very slow to respond, very slow to access a post, almost forever to have your typed response get posted, very long to return to a screen and the advertisements seem to have a lot to do with the slow down.
Happening again, post says 3 and you post an answer and it still says 3 . You have to access your post to see a response not just look at the response numbers
