    Evinrude 50273c 1972 50hp drive shaft length?

    Drive shaft is snapped just above the impeller housing- time to replace. I think the Evinrude 50hp 1972 model was made with a long and standard drive shaft length. Before I purchase a new shaft online, I need to know how long the shaft needs to be. Anybody know what the two length are? Thanks
