    Anything is possible, but being at 4k rpm it might be the ECM cutting back power from a knock or something else

    ^^^Agree Wouldn't be the first time someone forgot to fill the bottle, or "more" importantly the drive was not filled correctly, or you have a leak With drive all the way down on a trailer, remove the upper vent screw, you should see greenish color gear lube come out.

    Would need to remove the carb fuel line and place a tee fitting there. Can make one froma plastic or brass tee and some rubber fuel line and clamps. Pressure should be 4 to 6 psi from idle thru WOT

    To rule out fuel, need to put a gauge teed online. If it's not fuel then something is getting hot

    Don't see it being the coupler, but might be gimbal or drive Does this mean the drive has not been off in a while?Hope not, it needs to be pulled every year or max every 3 and everything checked out, gear lube changed

    Yes, like taking off with a manual transmission in high gear Another thing that can cause issues is the hull, is it water logged (as in heavier then it should be)
