The new anodes are still in the box. Those are last season's anodes. I'm not sure about the oil line, since it still has some marine growth on it.
It looks like my next step will be to take the outdrive(s) off and see what is going on.
I'll be taking a closer look when I remove the outdrive. Right now, I'm thinking it could be something as simple as a missing clamp #6, or something to do with the barb fitting #8 at the bell housing.
The oil where the bell housing and outdrive mate, could be a bad o-ring . . .

Yes, I cleaned the tube/hose off and no visible signs of cracking from where the dripping oil was located. So, my assumption at this point is that the source of the oil is from further up towards the bell housing.
To my surprise is that the outdrive (and boat) are only 6 years old, so not...
As if I did not already have enough things to do with my new-2-me boat, I noticed a oil spot below the port outdrive this weekend.

Nothing fits the same way going back in, so it is a slow process.
I am trying to diagnose an issue with the rear 'sunpad' actuator (it is supposed to raise/lower the rear seat assembly...
Most newer boats use HDPE (i.e. StarBoard) for upholstery frames and backing. You can certainly use plywood, but you should treat it with a wood sealer of some sort (search Old Timer's Wood Sealant) before you mount foam and upholstery covering to it.

Anyway, I am not as practiced at 'boxed' cushions as I am with the other stuff. So, the cushion is not quite as good as I'd like, but the filler cushion tends not to be used all that often.

Remove the winter cover from the boat
Do a little bit of prep work and repairs on the seat...
I had a similar situation with braided line (anchor rode). As the line would stretch under load, the diameter got too small for the gypsy. I believe the gypsy had some wear on it, which did not help matters.
My solution was to go up to the next size line (so from 1/2" to 5/8"). . . problem...
It may not be properly positioned on the gimbal ring which would cause it to not read correctly. There is a procedure for setting and adjusting the sender (outlined in the outdrive manual) that makes adjustment fairly simple.
Try that first then proceed onto other possibilities as needed

You can re-build it better than it ever was . . . You might be trading the banana suit for the tyvek 'hazmat' suit when you get to the grinding phase of the restoration.
This boat is what you call 'end of life' . . . Yes, the gelcoat is dried, cracked, and oxidized. The structure is rotted . . . and the engine is not viable.
The boat is 51 years old and it looks like it has not been taken care of. At some point there are just too many things to deal with and...
Typically, the 'damage' ( both moisture saturation and rot) go further than initially thought. The shop (or you) won't really know the extent of the damage until the 'demolition' phase is done. So, whatever quote/estimate you get, be prepared to have the actual cost be higher.
