1963 Starcraft Starmist? replacing floor - HELP

Had my boat sandblasted, polished the trim, power washed the whole boat to get ready to seal the seams. Floor is the next task. Haven’t had much luck on tips here so it gonna be an experience.

1963 Starcraft Starmist? replacing floor - HELP

So I take it no one has a 1963 Starcraft Starmist (or equivalent) that can share a photo of what their floor looks like so I could get an idea of how it sits in place? Issue is the forward section as to how the floor meshes between/over the floor support braces below the floor.

1963 Starcraft Starmist? replacing floor - HELP

My registration card has a serial number. I noticed someone’s photo of the ID plate on his Starcraft as having a couple numbers or letters, a dash, then 5 numbers (xx-xxxxx). Can someone who has a 1963 (or close) Starcraft tell me what the first two digits/letters you have are? Trying to see...

1963 Starcraft Starmist? replacing floor - HELP

Me too. Unfortunately it may go to scrap. No title and the Texas Parks and Wildlife says with no title, there is a huge hoop to jump through AND it must be inspected by a game warden. There is a chance he will confiscate the boat. I said really? It’s gutted and 58yrs old! Nope. He has the...

    1964 45hp Sea King

Well, I came a Ross this motor and was planning on restoring it. Fly shell is stuck as is the prop(but I can’t Move the shift lever, so it might be in gear). Looks like there is t many places to get parts for this so I guess I’ll purchase a parts catalog and part it out. Unless someone has...

1963 Starcraft Starmist? replacing floor - HELP

I believe I have a Starmist (no vin plate, but pics online lean towards that model). I received the boat with the floor removed. Any help with photos, plans, experience, tips, etc on installing the floor would be greatly appreciated. I'm guessing there was a front half (the seam about where...

No water discharge from port 1967 33hp evinrude

Ok. Pump works. Placed O-ring below upper spline. Now, there is a lot of “whipped “ lower unit oil floating on the water. I replaced the drive shaft seal (WITH a #313284). I guessing something is amiss with that seal. If lower unit oil just leaked out, it would be the same color as when...

I understand. And I mentioned there wasn’t an o-ring there when I took it off. Your theory makes sense if you put the pieces together as latex out in he schematic.

Ok. That’s possible, but I didn’t remove an old one from there, not that it didn’t bust/fall off years ago. I lifted the lower impeller plate (5) and there is a groove in the cast, maybe the o-ring goes between cast and #5? Below: Top of impeller housing. Arrows point to “vertical fingers”...
