    Bendix gear

Re: Bendix gear Usually the reason for this is: weak starter, cheap starter(some Chinese starters are real crap).Weak magnets, bad brushes(again Chinese inferior products. It's almost impossible to find good repair parts.Even Mercury uses some Chinese crap. Take it apart and check the condition...

    Thermostat for 105 model 10576 SN 1161

Re: Thermostat for 105 model 10576 SN 1161 That's not a seal. That's a guide tube.It helps align the tube from the motor. There should be a seal on the top of the pump housing. Without a seal your not gonna get the results you need. If it ran without a thermo then it aint gonna hurt till you...

Re: Pulling Flywheel, threads maybe stripped,1978 Johnson 150 hp The threads are usually 1/4-20 I think???Usually they strip out the first time you try to get the flywheel off. Use PB Blaster on the top of the shaft. The best thing to get is a BIG 3 jaw puller.See pics.Auto Zone has...

    new owner

Re: new owner That Cobra is the worst one for parts. The manifold is not available ANYWHERE. If it goes the rest is scrap. They run real good and are pretty fair on fuel. The 2.3 is the smallest and the lower unit of the drive is way smaller than the rest. The King Cobra is the bigger units...

Re: 1980 85hp chrysler..$150?! This type prop needs the hardware in the pic.Mercury prop in pic. Force is similar. No locking hub on Force. The older stuff won't fit the 86, the prop will go on,not the cone. They were made for the newer style, getting rid of the cone and flares.
