    Condition is key with older boats. Make sure you read the boat buyers checklist sticky on this forum before you check it over the last time. It can also be helpful if you're unfamiliar with boats to bay a marine tech to look it over for you. Skeeters were fine boats in their day, not...

    Welcome aboard Rambo: Pros and cons are simply this: how well it was cared for. That boat is nearly 20 years old. If it was well cared for and runs, then the original manufacturing "cons" are probably negligible against spending the money on a new boat that doesn't have them.

    There is a way to turn off Cortana (Look HERE), but I've not had to do that in Windows. It doesn't tend to automatically start up for me.

    Core test that transom to make sure. Good chance it's bad and you need to do a full gut and restore. But those are nice boats, and very pretty on the water. Welcome aboard!
