Update on my electric fuel pump installation.

I am sorry why should we not be finding out what is wrong with the motor. I have worked on probably 50 of the 2+2 motors and have never had to add an electric fuel pump to make it start correctly.

1995 Mercury 20HP what years are compatible?

Look at the driveshaft splines on top and Base gasket pretty sure they are the same through most yrs. If you find a whole motor a powerhead swap is simple. If you find one off of a pontoon boat you can also get electric start.

    Motor opinion

Why is 93 psi considered low for a V6? Since the only manual mentioned is for a I3/4 cylinder and those motors have NOTHING to do with a V6.

1995 Mercury 20HP what years are compatible?

Find a longshaft motor that is blown up anything from1985 and up will interchange. If you can find a 25 hp you can convert yours.

    Mercury 15hp No Compression

Don't worry to much if the prop doesn't turn when you pull it over. Those motors are notorious for breaking the drive shaft.

1972 evinrude 9.5 need long shaft or different trim?

What other motors have you tried on that boat. What is the max rating of the boat? I think it looks like your boat is overpowered. It probably has like a 7.5 hp max on it.

    More testing on Sharrow prop...

Alright you 2 answer me this. Wide open prop slip should be a non factor because it is not hard to do. What about midrange, like planing at lower speeds. That way you don't have to pull tubes at 25 mph with small children on them, because any lower and your tube rope are caught in the wake. Or...

82 Johnson 15hp wont start after run

Did anyone change the waterpump after they pulled it out of the box? How are you trying to start it? If it sits for 15-20 minutes may need to use the cold start procedure.

    More testing on Sharrow prop...

So you are mad they ran the mercury to the rev limiter ? But you are also mad they only ran the Yamaha to 5500 rpm it's recommended RPM? I am out you are gonna bash it no matter what because you didn't do it. I am excited to see where this prop goes.

    More testing on Sharrow prop...

If they ran it to 5500 how is it on the limiter? Most Yamahas I have owned the limiter is at 6100. I just think you would find something to nitpick period. Once again Why are you not criticizing all prop tests? Especially since they are all suspect. I am still sad about the complete lack of...

    More testing on Sharrow prop...

Well we know that the percentage is a lie Look at Dingbats post. So we can eliminate that. It's funny everybody ooohs and aaahs over Mercury's new V12 which really has nothing new on it. But something different has to be bashed and ridiculed. It obviously exists because the tests are out. So if...
