    Probably not, time to go shopping at the junkyard. There are many good motors out there where folks have just totaled out the vehicle itself. Replaced quite a few engines with junkyard engines over my many years of driving, only ever had one bad one from a junkyard....

    Find an old junk motor and attach a tiny gps tracker and let them steal it, when they do, have the police ready to go arrest them. If it were me, I would forget the police and grab a few friends and give them a visit. trackers are cheap and little, used inside folks luggage

    Have been quilty of that in the past...learned my lesson. Now I paint the + lugs and terminals (tops only) with red paint and the - with black paint. All my batteries have obvious color coding on them....it has saved me numerous times when in a hurry !!

    If already setup for remote, why not add remote to the boat...probably same cost and effort... My personal opinion is remote is much easier to manipulate the boat...

    Yes, 102" is correct, senior moment there....most boats that I have saw are well over that dimensuon on width.
